In today’s world where there’s so much happening and every second something or the other is changing we all have become mear passive observers. When I talk about my country, I see that the condition is worst. I feel like in India it’s time that people come to know the truth and the actual realities rather than what the so called genuine media is portraying it.
In the time when social media has become the new generation thing many have been making its use in both good and bad ways. In world of online content especially the visual or video content YouTube has given people a huge platform to showcase their talents and skills. It has been a platform where people have portrayed reality along with entertainment.
Entertainment is an essential part of life to stay relaxed and enjoy free time. Along with this being updated with the correct information is essential. . A few YouTubers have taken it upon their shoulders to bring out the harsh but truthful reality of this country.
One such person who I know is a very good friend of mine Rohil Mogal. He motivates me always as he is very hard working person. He has started his YouTube journey recently. He is determined to bring out hidden reality. He wants to unfler the flag of truth over India.
He Used to write on social issues on social media platform for which he got positive response. Later, he got angered when he saw fake news and political agenda is hurting society. His own friends demotivated him for doing this. Even after this he continued to be active on Social media and continuously point out fake news and truth behind any post shared by people he knew. This lead to more argument and zero positivity. With no support he was so demotivated that he in distress uninstalled all his social media handles.
But the true Indian in him couldn’t cope up with all the hate being spread by fake news and Politicians. He had the urge to make his views public and reach as many people as he could. He thought about all of this. He had his own thoughts whether to do it or not as he was thinking of what would his friends say. The more he thought the more he got confused. But, the Indian inside could not resist and he finally decided to make his views and opinions public and bring out the truth.
Earlier he used to pendown his views and findings. He realized that it was not getting the reach it should as people watched more and read less in today’s world. So he decided to use the medium of YouTube. He made his first video on one of the worst and brutal riots india saw. He had seen one guy posting video about police beating 5 people to sing vande Mataram and supporting it. This video has had a permanent impression on his mind and still haunts him. So, he decided to bring out the truth of all the things that happened during that event.
All this that he does is what you and me see happening every day around us but, keep silent. It takes a lot of courage to stand up after falling. Rohil has done it and proved that with determination in hand you can do everything under the sun that you wish to achieve even if you have no support. Before he makes his videos he puts in lot of time and energy in research of the topic and makes sure that all the facts and figures are correct. He makes sure that no information he has used is fake and not backed up with proofs. He jots down points and then searched extensively on that topic. There goes in a detailed research of news chanel , article by NGOs , journalist who never were involved in any fake reports. He Searches official documents from government to prove the official figures. There are many sites and organisation’s that provide with fact check if you ask them to so he contacts them and verifies all that he has to verify. He makes sure nothing he is using is offensive to any religion or innocent people.
Guys, Rohil does not use fancy equipments to shoot or edit his videos. He’s just like you and me a common man. He is a boy who has a 9 to 5 job so it takes him 20 days to get one video done. What I learn from him is that nothing is impossible in life. Living with whatever little we have is the biggest thing in life. Sharing the knowledge we have with others is what will be a true enhancement of our wisdom is what he has taught me through his videos.
By bringing out Rohil’s journey I am not trying to tell you all to make videos just like him. Neither am I bringing out his story because he is my friend. I bring out his journey because I want you all to learn from him. And be motivated. If a common next door neighborhood boy can do all of this with balancing his time between his family, job and making his passion then anyone can do it. It’s just a matter of getting the push and the mindset.

Rohil’s spirit and the thirst for bringing truth as it is seems impressive. I can imagine what it feels like to have been disheartened by others’ apathy towards one’s cause, yet to have the courage and willpower to persist, to believe in oneself. Rohil is the kind of independent journalist that we need to set new standards, with respect to ethical reporting and (hopefully) less fear mongering.

Exactly, thats my main motive in bringing out his story of hard work and motivation to the public so that more independent journalist have the courage to come forward
