This has been a difficult year for us all as we continue to battle with the deadly Corona pandemic. Over the one year, a lot of uneventful things have taken place in all our lives. The year 2020 has been a lot different for all of us in many ways. I want to take this opportunity to wish peace and courage to all. As we grapple with this new reality, we take comfort that hope in sight as more scientific research is being conducted to combat the virus, including the development and distribution of multiple vaccines.

It goes without saying that the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically altered many facets of every human life. The masks, Sanitizers, Social distancing and Work from home have become the part of life. The disrupted rearranged working environments, the ongoing needs and safeguard against virus transmission still continue to challenge the ways of working and living.

All economies across the world, have suffered a steep contraction this year due to the current health crisis. However, we are looking forward to a better future.

Therefore, as we celebrate the New Year, let us remember who we are as a people – a reservoir of remarkable courage, fortitude and an indomitable spirit. Let us also remember that regardless of where we choose to celebrate New Year, the occasion should be different this year.

To successfully move forward in 2021, I believe we need to be more disciplined, process oriented and accountable. The only way to success is do your best. At the same time be agile, forward thinking and innovative mind-set.

As glasses are raised and fireworks explode into the sky, it’s important to recognize the special symbolism that the New Year brings. In 2021, let’s start working towards building the best of ourselves. Please, do look after yourselves and your families and stay safe.
